Welcome to the Sean Widdison Hypnosis Website

After having a life long interest in the science of hypnosis, Sean in his twenties decided it was time to take things a little further and sought quality training, as many people with an interest will now be aware there are many supposed schools that offer correspondence courses or courses that may only last for a weekend, it was because of many years of intense reading, questioning of hypnotists and therapists that Sean decided that this was definitely an avenue that could undoubtedly prove expensive and lead to gaining very limited additional knowledge. It wasn't until his wife started to express an interest in his pastime and her desire to cease to smoke, that the quality training he had been looking for was finally found, this was when he first met Dr Lyn Bateman, competent hypnotherapist, highly successful international cabaret hypnotist and founder of the International institute Of Clinical Hypnosis. Lyn was running one to one tuition finally leading to fully recognised qualifications with the I.I.C.H., this qualification also being recognised by the S.E.W.O.C.N. The main body of the whole program was to study the full art of hypnosis from simple to complex induction's, to treat many common
psychological complaints, such as stress, anxiety and tension, also some of the more common treatments associated with hypnosis such as weight loss, quitting smoking, overcoming phobias also nail biting and blushing. He has since moved on to become an advance practitioner with the I.I.C.H and has helped countless people in their quest to succeed with their goals in life, be it to stop smoking, lose weight or successfully pass a driving test after failing on many occasions because of nerves.

Many of Seans family have also been involved in the field of entertainment, so it was inevitable that his ability to communicate effectively and perform would undoubtedly lead to a hypnotic stage show, this is where a persons true personality can be released by suggestion to the subconscious mind, perhaps an individual would imagine their the rock god or goddess Tina turner or Elvis Presley, or riding the winner of the grand national, whatever suggestion given all are in good taste and good fun and definitely a show not to be missed.
