After 7 attempts
at my driving test and failing dismally because of nerves it was suggested to
me by a friend of mine to try hypnosis, with the possibility of helping me relax
and overcome the nerves that seemed to take over as soon as the examiner got
into the car. I had three sessions with Sean the last being the day before my
test, to my astonishment another car actually crashed into me while on the test
route while on my test, but in the examiners own words because I stayed calm,
relaxed and in control he passed me, I really do believe that if it wasn't for
my introduction to hypnotherapy then L plates would still be displayed now.

For all of my life
I have bitten my nails way past the quick and also the skin surrounding my fingers,
it got to such an extreme where my fingers would actually be bleeding on a daily
basis. After reading about the possibilities of hypnotherapy helping I decided
to give it a go as I'd tried most products on the market to try and halt this
habit, but had succeeded with nothing. I was actually getting married in a couple
of months and Sean used suggestions of the wedding day to help me for appearances
sake. Even to this day after having a beautiful white wedding with fabulous
nails I still cherish the appearance of my hands and am very proud if them,
hypnosis in my opinion was a definite help to me.

After a very messy
divorce and long custody hearings for my children, I always felt that I wanted
to be able to say something for myself instead of through a solicitor to have
reasonable access to see my children on a regular basis. I consulted Sean and
he said with the help of hypnotic suggestions and what he called ego strengthening
my own personal goal would be easily achievable, after several sessions I can
honestly say that I felt a more positive person with a more positive outlook
on what I was looking for on a personal and family level. This turned out to
be true because on my final hearing I was finally able to stand up in front
of the court officials, social services and welfare officers and have my say
without feelings of nervousness, but felt confident and self assured and am
now seeing my children on a regular basis.

For many years
I've suffered with a stomach complaint, which was finally diagnosed as IBS (irritable
bowel syndrome), my GP prescribed many antispasmodic medications for this particular
ailment but none of them seemed to help, after investigating personally it seemed
that these attacks only seemed to manifest during levels of undue stress, resulting
in stomach cramps, vomiting, high blood pressure and on occasion losing consciousness.
For the medical profession to myself to blame stress always seemed like a Fob
off, but it wasn't until I'd had several hypnotic sessions to learn how to relax
and was also taught self-hypnosis that I'm now finally able to control an IBS
attack and can finally come to terms with the fact that if stress is avoided
IBS attacks are also avoided.

I've been smoking
since my early childhood and after several attempts to quit, using patches,
gum and other nicotine substitutes was having no success, after much persuasion
I decided to give hypnosis a try, I have to say I'd been a little sceptical
and always associated hypnosis with the associated stage shows, after a couple
of sessions my craving for cigarettes and the nicotine had genuinely decreased,
I can honestly say that I would now consider myself a non-smoker and fingers
crossed hope to stay this way although hypnotic sessions may have cost, there
is no way in this world would they have cost as much as cigarettes.
